Julie Wangui

Julie Wangui is an experienced professional currently serving as an Associate at The Global Development Incubator, specifically working with NurtureFirst, a collaborative focused on enhancing support systems for home-based childcare providers globally. In their role as Global Programs Associate at NurtureFirst, Julie coordinates and supports the implementation of learning interventions. Previously, Julie held the position of Analyst at Taumba Advisory, where research and analysis on various projects in sustainable finance, education, and infrastructure financing were conducted. Julie also gained experience as a Group Life Underwriting intern at Pioneer Insurance, managing group life insurance policies and reviewing claims. Julie Wangui holds a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from Moi University and is currently pursuing a Master of Development Studies at the University of Nairobi.
