Fran Ares Torres

Fran Ares Torres has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 1995, Fran served as the Director ejecutivo de cuentas at Meta Image S.L., where they organized and executed sports events and managed the image of elite athletes. In 1998, they joined Calidad Pascual as the Director de Publicidad, taking direct responsibility for the media department and collaborating with marketing managers on creative agency selection and audiovisual production. From 2006 to 2015, Fran founded and served as the Brand General Manager at Proximia Havas. In this role, they focused on brand management and led strategic initiatives. Additionally, starting in 2011, Fran worked as a Professor of Master Marketing y Comunicacion at Universidad Europea de Madrid, teaching marketing planning, goal setting, and sales force motivation. In 2015, Fran co-founded wBunker.com, where they served as a Co-founder & Advisor. This startup developed a security system app that provided real-time alerts and location tracking in case of danger. Continuing their entrepreneurial journey, in 2015, Fran also became the CEO at Glocally Media Agency, overseeing the development of communication strategies for national brands with local interests. In 2018, they joined Woman Forward as an Advisory Board Member, and in 2019, they became an Asociado at Asociación Española del Retail AER to support and professionalize the Spanish retail industry. More recently, in 2023, Fran took on the role of CEO at Cantábrica de Medios, a media agency that is part of Glocally Group. Throughout their career, Fran has demonstrated expertise in brand management, marketing, media, and entrepreneurship.

Fran Ares Torres completed a PADE degree in Administración y gestión de empresas, general from IESE Business School in the year 2023. Prior to that, they pursued a Master's degree in Digital Marketing from IE Business School, which they completed in 2013. In 2008, Fran attended Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca for a Programa Superior de Management. Fran'searliest recorded education is a bachelor's degree in Sociology from Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, which they obtained between 1993 and 1997.
