Dan Rabinowitz

Dan Rabinowitz has extensive work experience in the field of engineering and management. Dan is currently working as an Engineering Manager at GlossGenius since November 2022. Prior to this role, they briefly served as an Engineering Manager, Frontend at Warby Parker from June 2022 to August 2022.

From 2018 to 2022, Dan worked at Skillshare where they held multiple roles. Dan started as a Software Engineer in April 2018 and progressed to become a Senior Software Engineer in March 2020. In these roles, they contributed to expanding the user base and optimizing the platform. Dan also played a significant role in implementing unit testing standards and improving the hiring process. Additionally, they served as an Engineering Team Lead and an Engineering Manager, responsible for onboarding new engineers, organizing the team's roadmap, and promoting engineering initiatives and best practices.

Before joining Skillshare, Dan worked at Sanborn (Agency) from 2014 to 2018. During their tenure, they held the position of Full Stack Developer, where they built a subscription video-on-demand platform for a Hollywood studio and developed a data analytics system for a major news corporation. Dan also worked as a Front End Developer where they collaborated with a non-profit organization to develop a display system for high school students' art portfolios.

Dan's early career includes a role as a Seasonal Developer at Sanborn Media Factory from June 2012 to August 2013.

Dan Rabinowitz completed their Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science from Binghamton University, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. Dan then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science degree in Data Science from Indiana University Bloomington, which they completed in the years 2016 to 2017.
