Nigel Green

Nigel Green has a diverse range of work experience in the maritime industry. Nigel started their career as a Tug Crew member at Adsteam Marine Pty. Ltd. in 1996 and then became a Crew Member at Sydney Ferries in 1999. In 2001, they joined Defence Maritime Services as a Crew Member before moving to Teekay Corporation as an IR in 2003. Nigel then worked as a Chief Integrated Rating at Offshore Marine Services Alliance Pty Ltd from 2006 to 2008. After that, they were a General Service Operator at both Apache Corporation and Mersk from 2008 to 2010. Their most recent role was as a Chief Integrated Rating at Go Marine Group, which they have held since 2010. Throughout their career, Nigel Green has gained valuable experience and expertise in various roles within the maritime industry.

Nigel Green's education history includes a Bachelor of Science in Nautical Science from the University of Tasmania, obtained between 2013 and 2014. Nigel also holds a Certificate III in transport and distribution maritime studies from the same university, earned from 2002 to 2003. Nigel has additional certifications such as Process plant operations cert III from TAFE Queensland SkillsTech in 2018 and Marine engineering MAR30818 from TAFE NSW in 2017. Nigel also obtained a Certificate of Safety Training from the Australian Maritime Safety Authority in May 2016. Nigel has other certifications related to firefighting, medical aid, navigation, risk control, and marine operations.
