Robert McDonald

Robert McDonald is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in credit solutions and structured finance. Currently serving as Managing Director and Head of Credit Solutions at Pagaya since November 2020, Robert manages business relationships across various consumer credit products. Prior to this role, Robert was the Managing Director and General Manager of Auto Finance at Pagaya, overseeing business development, operations, and capital markets. Robert’s previous experience includes a tenure as Vice President and Head of the Auto and Equipment Business at Goldman Sachs, where significant achievements included sourcing over $50 billion in Asset-Backed Securitization transactions. Robert’s early career includes roles at Ford Motor Company as a Financial Engineer and at Domino's as an Industrial Engineering Consultant. Educational credentials include an MBA in Entrepreneurial Management from The Wharton School and a Master’s in Applied Mathematics and Financial Engineering from the University of Michigan.
