Robinette Kelley

Robinette Kelley Ph.D. has a diverse range of work experience in the field of equity, diversity, inclusion, and compliance. Robinette currently holds the position of Chief Diversity Officer at Gonzaga University, where they lead the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Prior to this, Kelley was the President and Founder of Kelley Consulting Firm, a consulting firm that specializes in providing services such as education, investigations, training, and conflict resolution in the areas of equity, diversity, inclusion, and compliance.

Kelley also served as the Associate Vice Provost for Equal Opportunity and Equity at NC State University, where they were responsible for strategic planning, assessment, and climate assessments related to diversity, inclusion, and equity compliance. Furthermore, they have experience as the President and CEO of Compliance Dynamics Consulting, LLC, where they provided executive-level consulting services, training, and education on various topics including equal employment opportunity, affirmative action, and Title IX.

Earlier in their career, Kelley held positions at Iowa State University as the Director of the Office of Equal Opportunity and at the University at Buffalo as the Assistant Director of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, as well as the Assistant Director of Employee Relations. In these roles, they handled discrimination and harassment complaints, wrote position statements, conducted investigations, and provided guidance on equity, diversity, and equal opportunity matters. Overall, Kelley's work experience demonstrates their expertise and leadership in creating inclusive and equitable environments.

Robinette Kelley Ph.D. earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Educational Leadership, Higher Education from Iowa State University from 2014 to 2017. Prior to this, they obtained a certificate in Diversity Management from Cornell University in 2012 and a certificate in Mediation from Cornell University ILR School in 2004. Robinette holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance from Buffalo State University and a Master of Education, Ed. M. in Higher Education Administration from the University at Buffalo.
