Markus Manninen

Markus Manninen currently serves as the Head of Visual Effects Production at LAIKA Studios, contributing to the upcoming Coraline 3D Remastered (2024). Prior to this role, Markus held key leadership positions at Goodbye Kansas Group as Deputy Chief Executive Officer, and at Goodbye Kansas Studios as Managing Director, overseeing global visual content and brand management. Earlier experience includes leading digital transformation initiatives at Sanofi and serving as Producer and Senior VFX Supervisor at HB Wink Animation Productions, where significant production accomplishments occurred in animated films. Markus's extensive background also includes a tenure as Senior Visual Effects Supervisor at DreamWorks Animation, where strategic studio development and a unified workflow were crucial. Additional roles at Framestore CFC, Filmtecknarna, Lightsite, and KTH Royal Institute of Technology further enhance Markus's expertise in visual effects, animation, and project management, supported by a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
