Katherine Sorensen

Katherine Sorensen is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in community resource management and data research analysis. Currently serving as the Community Information Director and Community Resource Manager at Goodwill Industries of Sacramento Valley & Northern Nevada, Inc. since May 2020, Katherine has previously worked as a Data Research Analyst at Innovative Development & Evaluation Associates (IDEA) Consulting from January 2017 to May 2020, where responsibilities included collaboration with California County Behavioral Health Departments and grant compliance. Katherine holds a PhD in Social and Personality Psychology from the University of California, Davis, along with an M.A. and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from San Francisco State University. Prior academic roles at UC Davis included Graduate Student Researcher and Graduate Teaching Assistant, highlighting leadership in research and education.
