James D. Williams is currently the VP for Fund Development at Goodwill Industries-Suncoast. James has over 20 years of experience in fundraising and development, having previously worked as the Director of Development at HPC Healthcare and the Director of Special Gifts at the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Prior to their work in the nonprofit sector, James worked as a life underwriter and financial consultant at New York Life Insurance Company. James is a highly experienced fundraiser with a proven track record of success in soliciting major gifts and planned giving.

Williams has a Master of Science in Financial Services from The American College of Financial Services and a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Insurance and Economic Security from the University of South Carolina. James also has certification from NANOE (National Association of Nonprofit Organizations & Executives) as a Certified Development Executive and Certified Nonprofit Executive, as well as certification from The American College of Financial Services as a CAP Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy, CLU - Chartered Life Underwriter, and ChFC: Chartered Financial Consultant.
