James Brandon

James Brandon has extensive experience in public service and law enforcement, currently serving as the Assistant City Manager for the City of Southlake, Texas since February 2013, previously holding the positions of Chief of Police and Assistant Chief of Police. Prior experience includes various roles at the City of Corpus Christi from January 1999 to February 2013, where James served as Police Captain, Executive Officer for SWAT, Police Lieutenant, and Police Officer. Earlier career experience includes working as a Correctional Officer with the Illinois Department of Corrections from 1996 to 1999. Academically, James holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business Administration and Management from American Military University, and a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from Midwestern State University, along with attendance at the Senior Management Institute for Police in 2014.
