Malachi Obst

Malachi Obst is a research assistant at GPN Vaccines since February 2023, with a background in the beverage industry and scientific research. Previously, at Seppeltsfield Rd Distillers, Malachi advanced from tasting room attendant to tasting room supervisor, developing leadership and team management skills while overseeing staff and operational efficiencies. Malachi's academic foundation includes an Honours degree in Health and Medical Sciences (Paediatrics) and a Bachelor's degree in Science (Advanced) with a focus on Microbiology and Immunology, both obtained from the University of Adelaide. Additional experience includes laboratory placements and research at the University of Adelaide, involving advanced genetic techniques and malaria research, as well as a role as a laboratory technician at Penfolds.
