Gea Scancarello

Gea Scancarello is an experienced journalist and educator, currently serving as a journalist at LA7 - Otto e mezzo since September 2020 and holding the position of caporedattore at LIVE-Magazine since October 2019. Scancarello has contributed as a journalist for Business Insider, Heidi.news, and GQ Magazine while also taking on freelance roles with SportWeek and Pagina99. As founder of FreeJourn, a collaborative platform for independent journalism, Scancarello promotes high-quality reporting by freelance journalists. Additionally, Scancarello has been a teacher of web journalism at IULM University since February 2015 and has a long-standing relationship with RCS MediaGroup as a columnist and freelance journalist. Scancarello's educational background includes degrees from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, Accademia di Comunicazione, and studies at the University of Valencia.
