Alex Tolbert has a diverse work history spanning over a decade. Alex started their career in 2008 as a Technology Coordinator at Professional Postal Service. From there, they worked as a Help Desk Technician at NorthShore University HealthSystem and as an IT Support Technician at the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) before joining Northwestern University as a Web Communications Coordinator.

In 2014, Alex transitioned to Ziegler, where they served as an IT Support Team Lead until 2018. In the same year, they founded Grablr, a company specializing in delivery software and logistics for events, where they held the position of Founder & CEO. During this time, they focused on revitalizing the concessions experience for fans at events by partnering with vendors to make ordering and receiving food, beverages, and merchandise more convenient.

In 2018, Alex joined Yelp as a Site Support Technician, responsible for handling Level 2 escalated tickets, supporting AV technology and video conferencing, and resolving hardware and software problems. Alex later joined The Coca-Cola Company as an IT Analyst in 2021, where they established and maintained business relationships with local management, resolved support incidents, assisted internal customers with software and hardware questions, and managed support projects.

Alex's most recent work experience is at ITW, where they serve as a Cyber Security Analyst starting in 2022.

Alex Tolbert attended Evanston Township High School from 2001 to 2005, where they earned their High School Diploma. Following that, from 2005 to 2009, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing at Eastern Illinois University.
