Jerry Chen

Jerry Chen is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in software development and systems architecture. Currently serving as Principal Engineer at Gradient Works since August 2023, Jerry has contributed significantly to various organizations, including a long-term role as a Committer at The Apache Software Foundation since October 2010. Jerry's notable past positions include Senior Staff Software Engineer at Cision, where architectural guidance and system deduplication efforts were pivotal during the TrendKite acquisition. Additionally, Jerry held the role of Software Architect at TrendKite, driving the integration of systems, and was Vice President of Engineering at Union Metrics, overseeing infrastructure and reliability for a social media analytics SaaS.
