Krishna Sannigrahi has been working in the health and nutrition field since 2005. KRISHNA began as an Assistant Professor at Sri Sathya Sai College for Women in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India, where they committed to the Home Science faculty in Bachelors Food Science and Nutrition and MA Home Science Students. In 2007, they became a Consultant - Senior Nutritionist at Dr. Shikha's Nutri Health System Pvt. Ltd., as Clinique De Rejuvenation in New Delhi, India, where they advised a wide range of patients with diet-related disorders. KRISHNA also increased awareness to healthy food choices and disease prevention among doctors, nurses, health professionals, social workers, community groups, including children and patient groups in health clinics and community to improve their quality of life. In 2009, they moved to MAMTA Health Institute for Mother and Child, New Delhi, India, as a Senior Programme Manager, where they led research and monitoring information for decision making and program adaptations, especially in health programs. In 2011, they became a Consultant (Health and Social Research) at SEEDS, Delhi, where they ensured proper implementation of Health and WASH program activities in the community and developed technical reports and documented the workshop trainings. In 2013, they were a Consultant at Alambplan, and in 2014 they became the Nutrition Manager, South Asia at Centre for Agri-Bioscience International, where they led the formulation of innovative approaches for capacity building, and scale up project services. From 2017 to 2019, they were the Regional Manager, Nutrition at Mamta Health Institute for Mother and Child, where they oversaw the collection and timely reporting of data and statistics for all RMNCHA and nutrition programs, provided technical inputs in Proposal writing and budget development processes for the nutrition program, and led technical assessments as a basis for nutrition program development when necessary. Since 2021, they have been the Associate Director Health and Nutrition at Grameen Foundation India.

Krishna Sannigrahi completed a Ph.D in Community Nutrition from Barkatullah University, Bhopal between 2006 and 2009. Prior to that, they obtained an M.HSc in Food and Nutrition from Jiwaji University, Gwalior MP India between 2000 and 2002.
