Priti Patel

Priti R Patel is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the energy and legal sectors. Currently serving as Vice President & Chief Transmission Officer at Great River Energy since May 2017, Priti provides strategic direction in the management of transmission assets and ensures reliable energy delivery. Prior roles include Regional Executive for MISO North Region, where Priti managed regulatory affairs and led the implementation of competitive bidding, and Senior Director of Strategy & Planning at Xcel Energy, overseeing significant transmission initiatives. Additionally, Priti has a background in legal counsel, having served as Assistant Attorney General for the Minnesota Attorney General's Office and as an Associate Attorney at Meagher & Geer. Priti holds a Juris Doctor from Mitchell Hamline School of Law and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
