Shohei Tanaka has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Shohei began their career at NEC System Technologies, Ltd. as a System Engineer from April 2005 to May 2008. Shohei then worked at J-Magic Inc. as a Software Engineer from May 2008 to May 2009. Tanaka then joined CROOZ, Inc. as a Software and Infrastructure Engineer from May 2009 to December 2012.
In 2013, Tanaka joined GREE, Inc. where they held various roles, including Manager from October 2013 to December 2014, Senior Engineer from February 2014 to January 2015, Lead Engineer from February 2015 to July 2017, and eventually became a Senior Lead Engineer from August 2017 onwards. During their time at GREE, Inc., Tanaka was involved in designing and developing an image distribution system, optimizing resources, and received several awards for their projects and contributions.
Shohei Tanaka studied at Tokyo University of Technology from 2001 to 2005, obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Media Science. In addition, they obtained a Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect certification from Google Cloud in November 2022.
