Daryn Lucas

Daryn Lucas is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as Managing Director at Green GEN Cymru since July 2024. Prior to this role, Daryn held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Windward Energy, where responsibilities included overseeing the diverse group comprising Bute Energy, Haldane Energy, and Green GEN Cymru. Experience also includes serving as Construction & Delivery Director at Bute Energy, Director at Copenhagen Offshore Partners, and Lead Project Manager at SSE plc, where Daryn developed and delivered significant projects in the power utilities sector. Daryn's early career features project management and engineering roles at Aurecon and a commissioned officer role in the British Army, providing a strong foundation in leadership and project delivery. Daryn holds an MEng(Hons) in Mechanical Design Engineering from the University of Glasgow.
