Charley Melton (Brown)

Charley Melton (Brown) currently serves as the Lead Practitioner for Biology and a Secondary Science Teacher at Greenwood Academies Trust since September 2020. Previously, Charley held the position of Secondary Science Teacher at Teach First from September 2020 to August 2022. Prior experience includes a managerial role as Shift Lead at JD Wetherspoon, where responsibilities encompassed stock management, performance evaluation, and team oversight, alongside certifications in personal alcohol sales licensing. Charley was also the President of the Aberdeen University Zoology and Biological Society from June 2018 to May 2020, focusing on community engagement and event organization. Earlier educational leadership experience includes serving as Head Girl at Wisbech Grammar School. Charley holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Education with a focus on Leadership in Education from Birmingham City University and a Bachelor of Science in Zoology/Animal Biology from the University of Aberdeen.
