Emily Petrila has extensive work experience in the legal field. Emily is currently the Vice President, Legal Counsel, and Corporate Secretary at Grosvenor since March 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Associate and Attorney at Hogan Lovells from September 2016 to March 2022. Emily also served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Richard D. Bennett at the U.S District Court for the District of Maryland from September 2014 to September 2016. In addition, Emily worked as a Summer Associate at Hogan Lovells in 2013 and as an Intern at Brown Advisory in 2011. Emily began their career as a Sustainable Programs Associate at The Conservation Fund from August 2009 to May 2011, and they also had an internship as an Investment Banking Analyst at Deutsche Bank in 2008.
Emily Petrila attended Princeton University from 2005 to 2009, where they earned their A.B. degree in History and French. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued their Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree at the University of Virginia School of Law from 2011 to 2014.
