Cornelius Williams

Cornelius Williams is a seasoned environmental professional with extensive experience in managing complex environmental projects across sectors such as renewable energy, oil & gas, and industrial developments. Currently serving as a Senior Environmental Scientist and Project Manager at Groundwater & Environmental Services, Inc., since August 2023, Cornelius directs project teams to ensure high standards in environmental assessments, permitting, and compliance. Previously, Cornelius held roles as an Environmental & Regulatory Specialist at ABC Environmental Consulting LLC, where expertise was provided in state and federal environmental permits, and as a Biologist at the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, overseeing mineral management on wildlife areas. Additional experience includes working as a Coastal Resources Scientist at the Louisiana Department of Natural Resources and as a Biological Science Technician with the National Park Service. Cornelius holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Regulatory Science - Environmental Biology from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.
