Jon Apgar

Jon Apgar has a strong background in software engineering and development. Jon is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at GroupBy Inc. since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Microsoft as a Senior Software Engineer from December 2021 to March 2023. Before joining Microsoft, Jon worked at Two Hat as a Senior Software Developer, where they created modern APIs and engaging UX for community moderation applications. Jon designed and built a next-generation moderation platform using technologies like TypeScript, GraphQL, Kubernetes, and Terraform. Jon also worked at Datablocks Inc. as a Full-stack Developer from September 2013 to May 2020. Their role involved building web applications for management and analysis of online advertising, developing RESTful APIs in node.js, and implementing anti-fraud and anti-malware solutions for advertisers and publishers. Jon started their career as a Multimedia Developer at CAE from September 2011 to October 2013.

Jon Apgar graduated from the University of Toronto in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Anthropology. Jon studied at the university from 2001 to 2008.
