Cathy Montes has over 20 years of work experience in various roles related to executive coaching, talent consulting, and human resources. Cathy'scurrent role is Executive and Leadership Coach at Exec, where they provide coaching and leadership development to individuals. Prior to that, they were the Global Talent Consultant and Leadership Coach at Cathy Montes LLC, where they offered coaching and professional development services. Cathy also worked as a Business Coaching Specialist at Growthspace, focusing on coaching corporate professionals.

Cathy has extensive experience in talent acquisition and HR management in the gaming industry. Cathy served as the Head of Talent Acquisition at WB Games, where they managed a global team and was responsible for branding, metrics, and diversity and inclusion efforts. Earlier in their career, they were the Director of Human Resources and Talent Acquisition at Bethesda Softworks, leading the HR and talent team for The Elder Scrolls project.

Prior to that, Cathy worked at CCP as a Human Resources Manager and Global Talent Acquisition Manager, where they played a significant role in the company's expansion. Cathy also worked at Nintendo of America as an HR/Operations Contractor and Technical Recruiter, specializing in technical recruiting and team fit.

Cathy's earlier experience includes roles such as Director of HR and Operations at The Sagres Company/Sagres Capital Management, where they oversaw HR, operations, IT, and call center functions. Cathy also worked as a Human Resources Manager at Bidpath, an internet start-up.

Throughout their career, Cathy has demonstrated expertise in coaching, leadership development, talent acquisition, HR management, and change management. Cathy has a strong track record of driving growth and helping individuals and organizations achieve their goals.

Cathy Montes holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University. Cathy also completed professional studies classes at The Wharton School. In terms of additional certifications, Cathy obtained their Mental Health First Aid Instructor certification from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing in January 2022. Cathy also received their ICF Accredited Holistic Career and Life Coach certification from the Institute for Career Coaching LLC in August 2021. Furthermore, Cathy obtained their Youth Mental Health First Aid certification from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing in April 2022. Lastly, they acquired the Moving To Heal - Somatic Movement Educator certification from the Nia Technique in May 2023.
