Fabio Vilas Boas MacHado

Fabio Vilas Boas Machado has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Fabio began their career as a Support Analyst at G5 Blindagens in 2003 and later worked as an Infrastructure Analyst at World Cargo Logística Internacional in 2005. In 2006, they joined WIS International as a Development Coordinator, where they developed software and implemented good development and testing practices.

In 2009, Machado became the IT Coordinator at Blue Tree Hotels, where they successfully centralized the systems of all hotels in a single data center and implemented various technologies to ensure availability and security. Fabio also implemented video conferencing and Microsoft Share Point tools, and actively participated in strategic planning.

From 2013 to 2017, Machado served as the IT Manager at Cia Tradicional de Comércio, a Brazilian restaurant company, where they managed IT operations and implemented various system and innovation projects. Fabio successfully deployed the American sales system NCR Aloha, modernized the IT park, renewed the wireless network, and implemented the reconciliation system of receivables.

In 2017, Machado joined Yum! Brands as the Head of Technology for the Brazil Market. Fabio was responsible for IT management, leading a team of 15 people and reporting directly to the CEO Brazil and CIO Latam. Fabio achieved significant results, including increasing the website conversion rate for Pizza Hut e-commerce and reducing IT incidents in stores. Fabio also ensured compliance with global IT policies and successfully renegotiated contracts with suppliers, resulting in significant cost savings.

Currently, Machado holds the position of Head of Technology and Cyber Security at Kopenhagen e Chocolates Brasil Cacau (Grupo CRM) since 2019.

Fabio Vilas Boas Machado completed a Postgraduate degree in Strategic IT Management at Ibmec in 2010. In 2017, they also received training in Advanced Architecting on AWS from AWS Training and pursued a Business English course at Aston Toronto.
