Kristina Hazard has extensive work experience in the field of scientific research and bioanalysis. Kristina started their career in 2003 at Lund University, where they obtained a Ph.D. in medical microbiology with a focus on virology. Kristina then worked as a Senior Research Associate at Statens Serum Institut from November 2007 to July 2009. In 2009, they joined Novo Nordisk as a Research Scientist, where they conducted bioanalytical assay validation and served as a Study Director in clinical projects. Kristina was promoted to Senior Scientist in March 2011 and continued their work at Novo Nordisk until January 2016. During their time there, they also became skilled in bioanalysis according to GLP and GCP guidelines.
After leaving Novo Nordisk, Kristina joined Wieslab, a Svar Life Science company, in February 2016 as a Senior Scientist. Kristina worked there until September 2018, gaining further experience in scientific research.
Currently, Kristina holds a position at Hansa Biopharma, starting in September 2018. Kristina initially served as a Senior Scientist and was later promoted to Principal Scientist in April 2022. Their role at Hansa Biopharma includes utilizing their expertise in bioanalysis and scientific research.
Kristina Hazard completed their Ph.D. in Medical microbiology - virology from Lund University between the years 2003 and 2007. Prior to that, they obtained an M.Sc. in Biomedical Laboratory Science from Malmö University from 1998 to 2002. In 1996, they pursued a degree in Chemical engineering at Mälardalen University, and in 1995, they studied French at the University of Gothenburg.
