Dan Edelstein

Dan Edelstein has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Dan currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Haystack Oncology since July 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Sysmex Inostics where they held various roles including SVP Commercial Operations/COO, Vice President of Commercial Operations, Director of Clinical Diagnostics New Technology, Associate Director of Medical Scientific Affairs, and Strategic Marketing Manager. At Sysmex Inostics, they played a key role in reimbursement strategy, evidence generation, clinical product development, and product delivery. Before joining Sysmex Inostics, they were the Vice President of Operations at Inostics, Inc., where they led the certification of the BEAMing technology platform and provided leadership for various operating units. Dan also has experience working at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine as a Senior Research Program Coordinator, where they focused on managing a hereditary colorectal cancer registry, implementing database structures, and organizing clinical trials. Prior to that, they were the owner of A.L.L. Care. Overall, Dan Edelstein has a diverse background in healthcare leadership and operations.

Dan Edelstein earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science & Chemistry from Virginia Tech, where they attended from 1997 to 2001. Later, from 2008 to 2011, they pursued higher education at The Johns Hopkins University, obtaining a Master of Science degree in Biotechnology. During the same period, they also obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School.
