Sergiy Shakhov

Sergiy Shakhov is currently a Senior Software Engineer at Hazelcast, starting in November 2021. Prior to this, they held the role of Java Technical Lead at TUI in March 2021 and was a Java Technical Lead at Daimler Mobility Services from April 2020 to February 2021. Sergiy also served as a Tech Lead / Full Stack Java Developer at Flixbus from June 2016 to March 2020. Earlier in their career, they held various positions at Miratech, including Senior Java Project Lead from March 2013 to June 2016, Java Project Lead from September 2006 to February 2013, and Java Software Engineer from March 2005 to September 2006. Sergiy also worked as a Java Software Engineer at XITEX Software from September 2002 to February 2005 and as a Software Engineer at Donetsk state inter-regional specialized veterinarian laboratory of birds diseases from February 2001 to July 2002.

Sergiy Shakhov attended Donetsk National Technical University from 1997 to 2002, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering. In addition, they have obtained several certifications including Machine Learning from Coursera in January 2019, AWS Certified Solutions Architect from Udemy in December 2018, and MongoDB for Java Developers from MongoDB University in August 2017.
