Jay Armburger

Jay Armburger currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of HBT Americas, LLC and Chief Technology Officer of HBT Group since February 2023. Previous experience includes significant roles at Caterpillar Inc. from July 2011 to January 2023, where Jay managed global product lines in underground technology, holding several key product management roles and leading engineering excellence initiatives following the acquisition of Bucyrus International, Inc. Jay's earlier career included positions at Bucyrus International and DBT America, where responsibilities spanned global engineering and P&L management, driving market increases and operational strategies in the underground mining equipment sector. Jay's foundational experience in the industry began at Joy Mining Machinery, focusing on engineering and product management. Academic qualifications include an MBA in Management Concepts from Gannon University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University.
