Jessica Kuang

Jessica Kuang is currently a TDP Associate Software Engineer at Optum, where work includes involvement with the OptumCare API and Enterprise Device Gateway. Previous experience includes a Software Engineer Intern position at Cloud Brigade, focusing on developing a productivity analytics web application using AWS technologies and React. As an Undergraduate Research Assistant with Tech4Good at UCSC, Jessica led a team in creating UI components for a full-stack web application and managed data interactions through Firebase. Additionally, Jessica has served as a Headstarter Fellow, developing projects and receiving coaching from industry professionals. Experience also includes teaching Python fundamentals as a Python Instructor with Mission Bit and fulfilling roles in various organizations, such as the UCSC Student Union Assembly and the Society of Women Engineers. Jessica holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of California, Santa Cruz, earned in 2022.
