Amy McCarthy

Amy McCarthy is a Senior Bioinformatics Data Scientist at Healx since February 2024, previously serving as a Senior Computational Biologist at e-therapeutics PLC from April 2021 to March 2024, where leadership was provided for various computational biology projects focused on target discovery and machine learning applications. Prior roles include Computational Biologist at AutoTrader, Data Analyst, and Scientific Researcher at Cancer Research UK Manchester Institute, where significant research on the interactions between tumor cells and fibroblasts in pancreatic cancer was conducted utilizing multi-omic techniques. Earlier experience includes a Research Assistant position at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology. Amy McCarthy earned a PhD in Oncology and Cancer Biology from The University of Manchester and an MA in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge.
