Ingrid Carette has a diverse work experience that spans several industries and roles. Ingrid started their career in 2014 as a Sales Assistant at Bluecollarwhitecollar, where they achieved sales targets and maintained customer satisfaction through effective communication. In 2017, they served as the Vice Chairperson of Vividus Ladies Day House at the University of Pretoria, managing a team and successfully organizing multiple events. In 2019, they worked as an Au pair/Tutor, assisting children with homework and projects while helping them improve their grades. In 2020, they became a Business Development Manager at Tecex, working with EU/UK clients in the technology industry and achieving success in lead generation and conversion. In 2021, they took on the role of Medical Lead Business Development Manager (Global) at TecEx Medical, where they increased client signings, closed new business, and converted meeting bookings into qualified opportunities. Ingrid later became a Medical Sales Operation Manager, showcasing their expertise and knowledge in clinical trials, project management, and compliance requirements. Currently, Ingrid is a Sales Executive at hearX Group, a digital health company focused on affordable access to hearing care solutions worldwide.
Ingrid Carette's education history starts in 2015 when they enrolled at the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria to study for a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Genetics and Physiology. Ingrid completed their degree in September 2019 and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Human Genetics from the University of Pretoria.
In addition to their degree, Ingrid has obtained several certifications and achievements. In October 2018, they received a merit certificate for leadership from the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria. In March 2017, they obtained a certificate from the Physiology society of Southern Africa (PSSA). In January 2016, they became a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society.
Looking ahead, Ingrid plans to pursue further education in the field of project management. In 2023, they are expected to complete a Certificate in Project Management from the Noble Work Foundation. Furthermore, in 2017, they took an online course in neurosciences, specifically focusing on neuroscience and visual skills testing and training, from the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria.
