Yugantak Raj Gupta

Yugantak Raj Gupta, Ph.D., is a Junior Research Scientist at Helex since April 2023, focusing on downstream processes in aquaculture. Previously, as a Senior Research Fellow at ICAR-Central Institute of Freshwater Aquaculture from March 2022 to March 2023, Yugantak led initiatives aimed at enhancing genetic understanding, disease resistance, and productivity in freshwater organisms through advanced molecular techniques. Yugantak’s academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Zoology/Animal Biology from the University of Hyderabad, a Master's degree in Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility from Banaras Hindu University, and a Bachelor's degree in Zoology/Animal Biology from the same institution.
