Lawrence Cortez

Lawrence Cortez has extensive work experience in various roles related to accounting and enterprise applications. Lawrence is currently working as the Director of Accounting at Heliogen since November 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Sr. Director - Enterprise Applications at HealthEquity from August 2019 to July 2023. Before that, they held two positions at WageWorks, first as the Senior Director Enterprise Applications - Financial Systems from July 2014 to August 2019, and then as the Director of Corporate Application - Financial Systems from October 2014 to August 2019. In their early career, Lawrence worked at The Word & Brown Companies, where they held roles such as Operations Accounting and Systems Manager from 2010 to 2014, Project Manager from 2006 to 2010, and Staff Accountant from 2005 to 2006.

Lawrence Cortez completed their Bachelor's Degree in Accounting at Vanguard University of Southern California from 1999 to 2003.
