James Merriman

James Merriman is a Senior CAD Designer at Hendrickson since March 2013, specializing in the development and revision of product designs for heavy truck suspension rubber components utilizing Siemens NX/Teamcenter. With experience as a MCG Contract Designer at DePuy Orthopaedics, James contributed to the development of surgical tooling for the DePuy Attune Knee System, ensuring adherence to ASME standards. Previous roles at Navistar included various project and product designer positions, where James successfully redesigned components for cost savings and managed design releases. Early career experience at Group Dekko encompassed engineering technician and press operation roles. James holds an AAS in Design Technology with a Mechanical Specialty and an AAS in Industrial Technology with a Machine Tool Specialty from Ivy Tech Community College.
