Yolanda Li has extensive experience in research, development, and business development. Yolanda currently holds the role of Principal Scientist at Henkel, starting in February 2022. Prior to this, Yolanda worked at the Stanford Office of Technology Licensing as a Business Development Associate in the Physical Sciences division. Yolanda'sresponsibilities included marketing Stanford University's physical science intellectual property portfolio, evaluating potential licensing opportunities and research collaborations, and engaging in various strategic initiatives. Yolanda also served as a Research and Teaching Assistant at UCLA from September 2015 to June 2020, specializing in organic synthesis and materials characterization. Additionally, they gained teaching experience as a Chemistry Teaching Assistant and worked as a Student Athlete Tutor at Cornell University from June 2012 to August 2015. Yolanda has also completed internships at Duracell Inc. and Unilever in the field of research and development.
Yolanda Li holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Materials Chemistry, which they obtained from UCLA between 2015 and 2020. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at Cornell University from 2011 to 2015, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Magna cum Laude Chemistry & Chemical Biology, with a minor in Economics. Yolanda also completed their high school education at Hackley School, where they obtained a High School Diploma. Additionally, they have achieved certification in Foundations in Design Thinking from IDEO U, with the year of attainment marked as 2023.
