Janessa Mosqueda

Janessa Mosqueda is a dedicated student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, actively engaged in various leadership and service roles. Currently serving as an Orientation Leader, Janessa facilitates programming for new students, and as an Off-Campus Community Living Liaison, Janessa supports students in private housing. Janessa also works as a Law Clerk at Land of Lincoln Legal Aid and has contributed as a Columnist for The Daily Illini. In addition, Janessa holds multiple positions within the Hermandad de Sigma Iota Alpha, including Chapter President and Marketing Chairwoman. Past roles include leading the Conéctate program to assist Latinx students, serving as an Office Support Assistant, and facilitating an after-school program focused on Latina/x middle school girls. Janessa's work experience is complemented by positions at Starbucks, enhancing customer service and training skills, while academic background includes a commitment to research and cultural initiatives.
