Stephen Willis

Stephen Willis is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business development and land management within the energy sector. Currently serving as Director of Business Development at Hess Corporation since December 2002, Stephen has successfully led sales processes generating over $1.5 billion across various transactions, including significant country exits and asset sales. Previously, as a Senior Advisor for Global New Business Development, Stephen oversaw successful sales totaling $3.4 billion across multiple international locations. With a strong background in land negotiations, team management, and regulatory coordination, Stephen has effectively led diverse teams and managed complex projects throughout a notable career, which began with self-employment as a Landman/Broker from December 2000 to December 2002. Stephen holds a Master of Arts in Biochemistry from Duke University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Texas A&M University.
