Dr Georgie Ford

Dr. Georgie Ford currently serves as the Associate Assistant Principal for SEND and Inclusion at Cabot Learning Federation and the Strategic Lead for Healthcare and Nursing at University Centre Weston. With extensive experience in mental health and education, Dr. Ford is a Higher Education Fellow with the Higher Education Authority and a Connect 5 Trainer with Public Health England. Additionally, Dr. Ford is a Mental Health First Aid Instructor with MHFA England and has held the position of Associate Examiner with Pearson since 2017. Formerly, Dr. Ford was the Excellence Lead for Mental Health and an Advanced Practitioner at Weston College, as well as a Psychology Teacher at Kings Of Wessex Community School. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Education from the University of the West of England, a BS in Psychology from the University of Plymouth, an MA in Educational Leadership and Management from The Open University, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice from the University of the West of England.
