Sam Walker

Sam Walker has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Sam'smost recent position is as a Senior Scientist at HilleVax since June 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Oncorus, Inc. from November 2019 to June 2023, holding roles as a Principal Associate Scientist and Scientist. From December 2018 to November 2019, Sam was a Senior Associate Scientist II at Solid Biosciences, where they were responsible for process development experiments and lab reorganization. Sam also worked as a Process Engineer at Momenta Pharmaceuticals from April 2016 to December 2018, contributing to downstream development experiments and acting as a project manager. Before that, they held positions as an Associate Manufacturing Operator at Merrimack Pharmaceuticals from August 2014 to April 2016, a Senior Manufacturing Technician at Genzyme Biosurgery from January 2013 to August 2014, and a Manufacturing Technician at Ipsen from October 2011 to October 2012. Sam's work experience also includes roles as an EMT-Basic at Saint Michael's Rescue Squad from September 2009 to September 2010 and an Intern at Injury & Health Management Solutions Inc. from May 2010 to August 2010, where they gained exposure to physical therapy and injury prevention education.

Sam Walker's education history starts with their high school education at Xaverian Bros. High School, which they attended from 2003 to 2007. After completing high school, Sam pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry at Saint Michael's College, graduating in 2011.

Following their undergraduate studies, Sam went on to study at the Harvard Extension School. From 2017 to 2020, they earned a Certificate in Biotechnology Management. They continued their education at the same institution and completed a Master's degree in Biotechnology from 2017 to 2022.

In addition to their academic achievements, Sam obtained a Masters Program certification from the Harvard Extension School in May 2022.
