Abhijit Chand

Abhijit Chand is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and engineering, currently serving as a Project Manager at Hindustan Shipyard Limited since June 2023. Prior to this role, Abhijit held various positions within the Indian Navy from June 2013 to June 2023, including Deputy Director, Project Specialist, Chief Engineer, Assistant Chief Engineer, and Associate Marine Engineer. Abhijit has pursued advanced education, completing the Armed Forces Residential Program in Business Management from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, a certification in Operations Management and Analytics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and a Marine Engineering Specialization Course from the Center of Marine Engineering Technology. Additional certifications include the Main Propulsion Control Technology Course from the Military Institute of Technology (MILIT). Abhijit earned a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from SASTRA University and completed early education at The Lawrence School and The Army Public School in New Delhi.
