Carla Velterop-Martin

Carla Velterop-Martin has extensive experience in heritage management and customer service. Currently serving as Programme Manager for Heritage Data at Historic England since May 2023, Carla leads initiatives such as the Heritage Data Programme and the Unpath’d Waters research project. Previously, from March 2019 to April 2023, Carla worked as Site Supervisor at English Heritage, managing visitor operations and financial transactions while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Carla's background also includes roles as a Flight Attendant at easyJet, where achievements included winning a sales award, and as a Data Migrator and Software Tester at Firefly Learning. Carla holds a Bachelor of Arts in Classical Studies from The Open University.
