Martin Newman

Martin Newman is an experienced Information and Data Analysis Manager at Historic England, where contributions span from managing teams focused on the historic environment to leading significant projects such as the Enriching The List initiative. With a career commencing in archaeology, Martin has held various roles, including Acting Head of Listing Information Services and Datasets Development Manager, showcasing expertise in data management, customer service, and information standards. Martin's earlier experience includes positions at the Royal Commission on the Historical Monuments of England and English Heritage, where leadership and financial oversight were demonstrated as Honorary Treasurer for the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists.
