Gillian MacNee

Learning Officer - National Projects at Historic Environment Scotland

Gillian Macnee has been working in the field of museum education and learning for over a decade. Gillian holds a Master of Arts in Museum Studies from Newcastle University and a Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree in Museum and Exhibition Design from the University of Lincoln. Currently, Gillian is the Learning Officer - National Projects at Historic Environment Scotland. Prior to this, Gillian held positions such as Curator of Learning and Access at the University of Aberdeen, Learning and Programmes Enabler at National Museums of Scotland, and Science Communicator at Glasgow Science Centre. Their expertise lies in creating engaging learning experiences within museums and cultural institutions.
