Ron Braver

Ron Braver CPA CFE, Licensed PD, currently serves as a Partner at HKA since February 2022, following a role as Managing Member at Ron Braver and Associates LLC from July 2012 to February 2022, where Ron specialized in forensic accounting, investigations, and dispute services. Notably, Ron held the position of Managing Director at Red Flag - Chicago from October 2013 to December 2018, providing services related to an Ethics Hotline for reporting fraudulent activities and misconduct. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Forensic Investigation and Dispute Services at Grant Thornton LLP, and a lengthy career at the IRS-Criminal Investigation where Ron progressed from Special Agent to Supervisory Special Agent, focusing on complex financial crimes and investigations. Ron holds a Master’s degree in Taxation from DePaul University and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Truman State University.
