Nils van der Vliet

Nils van der Vliet is a Medior Consultant in Water and Climate at HKV lijn in water since October 2019. Nils has a strong academic background with a Master of Science in Engineering, Watermanagement from Delft University of Technology obtained in 2019, and a Bachelor’s degree from the same institution. Nils has engaged in various research and consultancy roles, including a temporary position at TU Delft in 2023 focusing on flood damage modelling related to the July 2021 flooding. Previous experiences include conducting a Master’s thesis at Tauw Nederland on remote sensing for river analysis, an internship at INDYMO monitoring algal blooms, and serving as a student assistant in Watermanagement at TU Delft. Additionally, Nils held various roles in event management and sales earlier in the career.
