Michelle Sevig has an extensive background in ministry and chaplaincy, currently serving as Pastor at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church since January 2002. In addition, Michelle is the Co-Coordinator for Youth Ministry at the Metropolitan Chicago Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America since June 2023 and has held the position of Registry Chaplain at Advocate Aurora Health System since May 2016. Previous experiences include Staff Chaplain at NorthShore University HealthSystem, Chaplain Resident roles at Rainbow Hospice and Lutheran General Hospital, and volunteer work at the Chicago Women's Health Center. Michelle was also the Associate Director for Women in Leadership and Ministry at the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and served as Interim Pastor at First Lutheran Church and Associate Pastor at First Lutheran Church. Michelle holds a Master of Divinity degree from Luther Northwestern Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Education Studies from St. Cloud State University.
