Abby Yeung Asa

Abby Yeung is a Senior Actuarial Analyst at HOOPP since March 2021, with a strong background in actuarial roles within various organizations. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Actuarial Associate at WSIB, where Abby was involved in IFRS 17 implementation and analyzing COVID-19's cost implications. Additional roles include Actuarial Associate at BMO Financial Group, dealing with group annuity quotations, and serving as a Pension Compliance Analyst at FSCO. Abby's foundational experience started as a Pension Analyst at the Ontario Pension Board and included significant contributions at Aon Hewitt in conducting actuarial research and completing valuation reports. Abby holds an Honours degree in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Toronto.
