Jennifer Stroud has extensive work experience primarily in the financial planning and analysis field. Jennifer has been working at HOOPP (Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan) since 2012, starting as a Senior Manager in Business Planning & Decision Support and eventually progressing to Senior Director roles. Their responsibilities include leading the business planning process, providing financial oversight and governance for projects, participating in cost benchmarking activities, and conducting financial analysis. Jennifer also has experience in corporate accounting, treasury and banking functions, and technological innovation for financial reporting and business planning. Prior to joining HOOPP, they worked at Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan as a Manager in Planning & Performance Measurement and a Planning Analyst. Jennifer also had a role as a Senior Investment Services Specialist at Ontario Teachers Pension Plan.
Jennifer Stroud began their education at Wilfrid Laurier University in 1999, where they pursued a degree in Finance and Accounting. Jennifer successfully completed their studies and graduated in 2003 with a HBBA degree. Following this, they joined the Society of Management Accountants of Ontario to further enhance their knowledge in the field of Accounting and Business/Management. Jennifer obtained a Certified Management Accountant certification in 2007 from this institution.
