Alexa Ciencin is an experienced clinician and educator with a strong background in behavioral health and case management. Currently serving as an ABA Teacher and Case Manager at Hopeful Journeys Educational Center since October 2022, Alexa previously worked as an Adult Residential Clinician at Walden Behavioral Care, where duties included conducting psychosocial assessments and managing cases for an average of eight patients. Prior experience includes roles as a Clinical Case Manager at Cambridge Eating Disorder Center, where case management was provided for eating disorder populations, and as a Senior Behavior Therapist at The May Institute, focusing on ABA-based instruction for individuals with autism spectrum disorders. Alexa holds a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Tampa.
