Catherine Crago

Catherine Crago has a diverse and extensive work experience. Catherine started working at Black & Decker in 1988 as a Cost Management in DPP for a year. From 1993 to 1999, they worked independently as a Managing Director, supporting clients in advancing technology through R&D and commercialization. In 1999, they joined Arthur Andersen as a Senior Manager, where they supported the firm's worldwide activity-based cost management practice and performed due diligence on acquisitions. From 2002 to 2007, Catherine served as the Managing Director of SemiconGroup, leading initiatives to optimize distributed operations and developing assessment and benchmarking tools. Catherine then founded Diversity Interactive in 2008, where they served as the Founder & Executive Producer, leading a startup interactive media firm focused on diversity and inclusion communications. In 2014, Catherine joined the Housing Authority of the City of Austin as the Head of Strategic Initiatives and Resource Development, where they lead strategic initiatives, develops public-private partnerships and serves as an ambassador to federal and municipal agencies. In 2019, they worked as a Policy Fellow at The Johns Hopkins University's Center for Applied Public Research.

Catherine Crago has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History from The University of Texas at Austin. Additionally, they attended the International School of Brussels, but no specific degree or field of study is provided for that institution.
